Informatica (“the Journal”) is published by the Slovene Society Informatika (Slovenia). This website is operated for the purpose of managing scholarly submissions, peer review, editorial decision-making, publication, and the dissemination of published articles.
What personal data we collect
We collect and process the personal data that users provide when registering, submitting manuscripts, reviewing, editing, or communicating with the Journal. This may include:

- Performing the journal workflow and publishing services requested by users (contract/steps prior to contract).
- The Journal’s legitimate interests in operating and securing the editorial and publishing process.

Personal data are shared only as needed for editorial and publishing purposes, for example:

Published articles are publicly available, and their bibliographic metadata (including author names and affiliations) are public.

We retain account and submission-related data for as long as necessary to operate the journal, manage the peer-review record, and preserve the scholarly record. Users may request account deletion; where deletion is requested, we will remove personal profile data where feasible while preserving publication and editorial records where necessary for integrity, auditability, or legal reasons.
