Informatica is an international journal with its base in Europe. It publishes peer-reviewed papers from all areas of computer science, informatics and cognitive sciences,
with a focus on intelligent systems and software in general.

Informatica publishes several types of papers, including:

  • Technical papers reporting novel research
  • Overview papers covering a subarea of computer and information science
  • Position papers presenting an interesting plausible scientific opinion
  • PhD paper describing recent doctoral dissertation on 2 pages

Informatica has been published continuously since 1977, four times a year by the Slovenian Society Informatika.
